Public Launch Webinar: ETS Handbook and Carbon Market Implications for China

GIZ China, the International Carbon Action Partnership (ICAP) and the World Bank’s Partnership for Market Readiness (PMI) will also jointly host a free public launch webinar of the Chinese version of updated ETS Handbook. The event take place at 09:00-10:30 AM CET (4:00 - 5:30 AM ET) on 22 March.


The virtual webinar will feature a panel discussion and key speakers from the GIZ China, the ICAP Secretariat, the World Bank, Tsinghua University, SinoCarbon, the Environmental Defense Fund, the China Electricity Council, and China’s National Centre for Climate Change Strategy, who will provide:

  • Introduction to the updated handbook

  • Carbon market implications for China and its climate targets

This will be followed by a moderated Q&A session. Simultaneous translation (English/Chinese) will be available throughout.
