An increasing number of countries are exploring how carbon pricing instruments could
help them meet their NDCs. This side event will present the latest state and trends of
carbon pricing initiatives around the world and their role as countries implement the
Paris Agreement. Panelists will also discuss how carbon pricing revenues could support
low-carbon and climate-resilient development, from the perspective of policy makers and
of entities covered by carbon pricing instruments.
