This side event will bring together academics, policymakers and
stakeholders to discuss prospects and challenges for carbon pricing in the
context of the Paris Agreement and Agenda 2030. It will also examine
academic research results of carbon pricing as a source of revenue with
real-world experiences in using carbon pricing in emerging and
developing countries.
